What little combat I played behaves at least a little bit like Dark Souls, though it wasn't as challenging and has its own animations and so forth. Individual enemies can be locked onto by holding L1. You can block with a shield, or unlock a parry move. ![]() Now, you have a faster, weaker attack mapped to the R1 button and a heavier, slower attack mapped to R2. Combat is a lot different from past games, and it certainly borrows from the Souls series, at least at a very basic level. So it was with some surprise that I realized Ubisoft has pretty much done just that.
